Thursday, August 20 Debut Album Daphne in Winter
Daphne in Winter, the debut album from Karen and Amy Jones, is now available on CD, iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and more. The 8-song album was produced by Karen and Amy and Brian J. Anthony and recorded at Brian J. Anthony Studios in North Catasaqua, PA. From K&A: "We are extremely proud of the songs we've created on this album and can't wait for you to hear them. Since we started singing and writing together back in 2006, we've played over 200 live shows, strictly acoustic - so it's incredibly exciting for us to hear our songs with drums, bass, keyboards, and strings. We're working on adding a band member or two or three, to fill out our live sound. More on that at a later date." Thanks for your support and for listening! New Live Photos: June & July 2009 Our mom finally figured out how to use the digital camera Dad bought her. Now she won't stop. :-) Daphne in Winter Album Release Coming Soon! It's been a long, long road, but our debut album is finally finished. We dropped off the master and artwork last week and we'll have the CDs in hand VERY SOON. The 8-song album was recorded by Brian J. Anthony at Brian J. Anthony Studios in North Catasaqua, PA. Brian also helped us produce the songs and played the instruments we completely suck at, like bass and electric guitar. He is, in a word, awesome. We are extremely proud of the songs we've created on this album and can't wait for you to hear them. Since we started singing and writing together back in 2006, we've played over 200 shows, strictly acoustic - so it's incredibly cool for us to hear our songs with drums, bass, keyboards, strings, etc. (we're working on adding a band member or two or three, but more on that at a later date). We'll be selling the CD online and at our live shows and the songs will be available on iTunes, Amazon and other online stores soon. Thanks for your support and thanks for listening! p.s. Amy actually drew the album artwork - who knew she was a freaking artist?
